Spokesperson for the BiH Prosecutor's Office Boris Grubešić, explaining the events during the protests in Sarajevo, told the BiH news agency Patria that prosecutors went to the field on the order of the chief prosecutor, not upon an official police request.

- We must emphasize that prosecutors went to the field on official duty, by order of the chief prosecutor, immediately after learning about the attack on state institutions, and that the duty prosecutor was not informed or officially summoned by police agencies – Grubešić told NAP.

When asked by NAP journalists about the progress of the investigation into the riots that occurred on February 7, Grubešić said that the prosecutor is still analyzing the submitted report, after which a decision will be made on further activities, and a decision on the jurisdiction of the BiH Prosecutor's Office or the eventual forwarding of the case to the competent prosecutor's office.

He also added that only the Federal Police Administration has submitted a report on the riots during the protests in Sarajevo so far.

- Regardless of the decision, the BiH Prosecutor's Office will undertake intensive activities to process this case as efficiently as possible – Grubešić stated.
