Attacker on police handed over to Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Nineteen-year-old J.B., who hit a police car with his vehicle this morning and injured three police officers, has been handed over to the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office. 

Around 3:30 AM, J.B. caused a traffic accident in Novi Grad at the intersection of Bulevar Meše Selimovića Street and X transferzala with his Audi A4, in which another vehicle was involved. J.B. fled the scene, running a red light towards Ilidža. 

Police officers from the Ilidža Police Department attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver continued towards Hadžići. In the settlement of Resnik, he hit a police vehicle which overturned. The fugitive continued but hit an embankment and ended up in a ditch where he was apprehended by police officers. Several police vehicles participated in the pursuit.
