Una-Sana Canton Prosecutor's Office: Director and two employees arrested for taking money for employment

BIHAĆ, (Patria) - By order and under the supervision of the Una-Sana Canton Prosecutor's Office Bihać, members of the Federal Police Administration Detachment Bihać today searched the premises of the Bihać Health Center. Three individuals were deprived of their liberty, namely the director of the Bihać Health Center Anela Softić Kasumović, and Health Center employees Adnan Lipovača and Nermana Lipovača, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the extended criminal offense of Abuse of Position or Authority and Receiving Gifts or Other Forms of Benefit.

- Suspect Kasumović Softić Anela is accused of illegally hiring a larger number of people during 2018 and early 2019, with the assistance of suspects Lipovača Adnan and Lipovača Nermana, from whom she received monetary amounts of 3,000 to 5,000 euros per job in return - it was announced from the Una-Sana Canton Prosecutor's Office.

The search is led by a prosecution team from the Una-Sana Canton Prosecutor's Office Bihać, and the deprived individuals will be taken to the premises of the Federal Police Administration, Detachment Bihać during the day for further criminal processing.
