Prosecutor's Office, in cooperation with Europol, obtained information about the murder of Bašić

(Patria) - The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is in constant communication with the Europol institution in The Hague, as well as with prosecutorial and police institutions in the RS, and the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA, and police structures in the FBiH and cantons, in order to coordinate activities on detecting, documenting and prosecuting persons suspected of serious crimes that threaten the rule of law and the safety of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The goal of the activities is for all institutions, jointly and through coordinated action, each within their own competencies, to give maximum contribution to the investigation of serious crimes that seriously disrupt the security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkan region.

Within the framework of the conducted activities and cooperation with Europol, information was jointly obtained that can help in the investigation of the serious murder of the chief of criminal police of Prijedor, Radenko Bašić.
 
Communication with EUROPOL, established in the past months, enabled the implementation of several extensive operations in the fight against organized  and cross-border crime, which were welcomed within the structures of Europol and the EU.
