Prosecutor's Office of TK: Woman killed with multiple blows to the body, no detailed information due to the nature of the crimes

(Patria) - The Criminal Police Sector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of TK and the acting prosecutor are conducting detailed and extensive investigative actions regarding the murders of a thirty-four-year-old woman and her two children, aged nine and two, which were committed in a cruel manner in a family apartment in the Stupine settlement of Tuzla.

According to the preliminary autopsy findings, which have been verbally communicated to the Prosecutor's Office so far, with the written report and opinion of the forensic medicine expert expected soon, the woman had a number of injuries to her neck, head, face, and other parts of her body, inflicted with both the sharp and blunt parts of an axe, which caused her death.

In accordance with the provisions of the Law on Protection and Treatment of Children and Minors in Criminal Proceedings in FBiH, the Prosecutor's Office will not disclose any details related to the deceased children.

Therefore, numerous investigative actions are underway, and all relevant traces from the crime scene have been collected and will be subject to expert examination. Biological examination and DNA analysis are particularly important, which will be carried out by the Center for Forensic Examinations, Expert Opinions, and Research of the Federal Police Administration after all relevant evidence materials are submitted by the Prosecutor's Office.
