Prosecutor's Office of Tuzla Canton to seek pre-trial detention for all 14 arrested individuals involved in the fight: 11 are Croatian citizens

(Patria) - Spokesperson for the Prosecutor's Office of Tuzla Canton, Admir Arnautović, stated that 14 individuals, 11 of whom are Croatian citizens, have been handed over to the TK Prosecutor's Office with a criminal offense report for further proceedings.

On Saturday evening, members of the fan group "Torcida" ambushed fans of Crvena zvezda, who were returning from Malmö and had landed at Tuzla Airport.

"They were deprived of their liberty late Saturday evening, and then the report on the commission of the criminal offense was handed over to the jurisdiction of the KS Prosecutor's Office. They are suspected of ambushing a group returning from Malmö near Tuzla International Airport, carrying out an attack using wooden clubs, metal rods, and physical force. More than 20 people were injured, four have severe injuries, and one has life-threatening injuries. Another 17 people sustained minor injuries, including one police officer. Today, an order for investigation will be issued, they will be questioned regarding the criminal offenses and actions they are accused of, and after that, the TK Prosecutor's Office will most likely submit a proposal to the competent Court in Živinice for pre-trial detention for all 14 individuals.

He stated that all 14 deprived of liberty bore the insignia of the fan group Torcida.

"The TK Prosecutor's Office, along with the MUP of TK, is dealing with the criminal law matter, specifically the criminal offense they are accused of. Police officers acted quickly and responsibly to establish public order and peace and to apprehend the perpetrators. In the first wave, 93 people were deprived of liberty, and 14 individuals were detained," said Arnautović.

He added that the competent police agencies, the Ministry of Security of BiH, and OSA will be investigating the entry of these fans into BiH and all that preceded the conflict and ambush in Dubrave.
