RS Prosecutor's Office Investigating Petar Đokić over Suspicious Concessions

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Minister in the RS Government Petar Đokić, and leader of the Socialist Party, is under scrutiny by the police and the Prosecutor's Office of Republika Srpska, N1 has confirmed.

While political circles speculate that Đokić is losing trust within his own party, as well as within the ruling coalition, the Prosecutor's Office is clear:

"The Republican Public Prosecutor's Office, Special Department for Combating Corruption, Organized and the Most Serious Forms of Economic Crime, is acting on a case in which Petar Đokić has been reported, in connection with the operations of EFT Rudnik i Termoelektrana Stanari d.o.o. The Prosecutor's Office has received a Report from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska on measures and actions taken regarding the seizure of relevant documentation, in connection with the operations of this economic entity. We cannot disclose more information about this case at this moment," N1 was told.

There are no details about the case, but there is confirmation that Đokić is accused of suspicious concession awards to the detriment of Republika Srpska.

 The Government has not yet commented on this case.
