SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The BiH Prosecutor's Office has not received a report against Tanjug television journalist Marko Ivas regarding his stance on Srebrenica. This information comes from the BiH Prosecutor's Office.
Since the imposition of the decision banning and punishing the denial of genocide, made by former High Representative Valentin Inzko, the BiH Prosecutor's Office has received 30 criminal reports so far.
The Institute for Research of War Crimes and Genocide in Canada, formed by the Bosniak diaspora, announced yesterday that it had filed a criminal complaint against Ivas, who refused to agree during an interview with the statement of the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić that genocide occurred in Srebrenica.
- Since the end of July, when amendments to the Criminal Code of BiH came into force, the BiH Prosecutor's Office has received more than 30 reports against several individuals for criminal offenses related to the provisions on the prohibition of denial of genocide and war crimes - said spokesperson Boris Grubešić.
According to him, all reports received so far are with the acting prosecutors. He added that the Prosecutor's Office cannot provide more information on ongoing cases. Among the reports is one filed against RTRS journalist Branimir Đuričić, who earlier today supported his colleague Ivas on Twitter.
