In the "Hum" operation two days ago in the Sarajevo Canton area, 17 people were deprived of liberty, and 13 suspected individuals were handed over to the competent prosecutor's office, confirmed for the Patria agency from the KS Prosecutor's Office.
- The acting prosecutor examined all suspects, issued an order to conduct an investigation for the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs from Article 238, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of BiH, and at the same time sent a proposal to the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo for the determination of custody for all suspects - it was announced.
An investigation for the aforementioned offense was opened against 17 individuals, of whom four suspects are currently unavailable to law enforcement agencies and a warrant has been issued for them.
The suspects, acting as an organized criminal group, were involved in the procurement of narcotic drugs cocaine, heroin, amphetamine, and cannabis, which they further repackaged and distributed in the Federation of BiH.
The Prosecutor's Office, in cooperation with the competent law enforcement agencies, continues the investigation in this case.
