Cantonal Prosecutor's Office investigates dealings of Dr. Talirević and Moja klinika

The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton has opened a case following a series of investigative stories about the connections between Dr. Emir Talirević, the healthcare institution "Moja klinika" which he owns, the General Hospital "Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš" and the director of KCUS, Dr. Sebija Izetbegović, N1 reports, Patria news agency reports.

Several media outlets have published information about the operations of the previous management of the General Hospital "Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš", headed by Dr. Sebija Izetbegović, specifically regarding the conclusion of contracts with Dr. Talirević's "Moja klinika" for pathohistological services.

Whether these contracts were concluded to the detriment of the state and citizens, and in favor of the private interests of the clinic's owner, and whether there were any illegal actions in the entire process, will be determined by the competent authorities.

Also, the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office is gathering information on how part of the Hospital was leased to "Moja klinika" after the lease agreement for 754.5 square meters was signed in March 2014.
