Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton proposes detention for director of Famus gradnja and others, due to death of two workers

The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton has proposed detention for the director of the company Famus gradnja 3, Kemal Karahmet, the technical director of the company, Miralem Jahić, and the site manager, Dženan Hadžem, considering them responsible for the death of two workers who died in the collapse of scaffolding at a construction site in the center of Sarajevo several days ago, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The suspects were questioned at the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, after which it was concluded that a proposal for detention should be submitted to the Cantonal Court for all three individuals.

Karahmet, Jahić, and Hadžem were arrested after the accident that occurred on Wednesday at a construction site in the center of Sarajevo, in which two workers of the company Famus gradnja 3, Razim and Enes Halilović, died. One worker was seriously injured, NAP reports.
