Prosecutor's Office of KS: No report on Sanjin Sefić submitted since 2010

Following the allegations presented by the police commissioner of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS, Vahid Ćosić, at a press conference, the Prosecutor's Office of KS reacted and issued a statement stating that in this Prosecutor's Office, a total of 8 official reports from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS were received from 2007 to 2010, and eight criminal cases were formed based on them, reports Patria.

- During Sefić's adulthood, this Prosecutor's Office received two reports from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS. In one of the cases, the KS Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment against Sanjin Sefić for the criminal offense of assaulting an official person while performing security duties. The Municipal Court in Sarajevo found him guilty of this offense and imposed a suspended sentence. The Prosecutor's Office appealed this court decision.

The second case relates to the criminal offense of endangering security. The acting prosecutor, after conducting an investigation, issued an order to suspend the investigation in this case, as there was no evidence that the suspect had committed a criminal offense.
In all remaining formed cases (six of them), while Sanjin Sefić was a minor, the Prosecutor's Office filed a motion with the competent Court to initiate proceedings.

Therefore, all the mentioned cases were processed and concluded in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Criminal Procedure of FBiH, and the Court imposed sanctions on Sanjin Sefić as provided for juvenile offenders. It should be noted that police agencies have not submitted any reports against Sanjin Sefić since 2010, except for this last one. At the same time, the Prosecutor's Office reminds that the 47 violations committed by Sanjin Sefić fall exclusively under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS, and not under the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor's Office.
