(Patria) - The Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office has issued a statement regarding the arrest of two police officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS, stating that they are currently undergoing criminal processing.
According to the spokesperson for the KS Prosecutor's Office, Azra Bavčić, witnesses are also being interviewed.
"The prosecutor in charge is directing investigative actions within the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS. Witnesses are being interviewed and urgent evidence-gathering actions are being taken," she stated.
One arrested police officer is accused of the criminal offense of Sexual Harassment, and the other arrested officer is accused of the criminal offense of Sexual Abuse of a Child over 15 years of age.
These are separate cases, where the police officers in question were deprived of their liberty immediately upon learning of the incidents, specifically after an official from one of the social welfare institutions in the Sarajevo Canton reported to the police last night.
