(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) today (January 10, 2020) in the area of Pale, in cooperation with police officers of the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska, deprived of liberty one person who is linked to the commission of several criminal offenses and for whom a search warrant had been issued.
"The said person is currently in the SIPA premises and is undergoing criminal investigation," SIPA stated.
Allegedly, it is Marko Trifković, known as "Žižan", a member of the auto mafia, arrested today in Pale on suspicion of having committed several criminal offenses.
The media linked Trifković to the murder of two Sarajevo police officers, Adis Šehović and Davor Vujinović.
Azra Bavčić, spokesperson for the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, told Patria that this prosecutor's office cannot provide any information regarding the arrest.
