KS Prosecutor's Office continues investigation into Lukač, he does not give up on FUP director position!

A session of the Independent Board has been scheduled for today, at which the applications of candidates for the director of the Federal Police Administration (FUP) should be opened, reports Patria. As has already been announced, the candidates are the current director of FUP, Dragan Lukač, as well as Svevlad Hofman, Ensad Korman, Robert Perić, Semir Šut, and Željko Čorić.

However, an investigation is still ongoing against the current director of the Federal Police Administration (FUP), Dragan Lukač, at the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, following a report by the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA).

- The Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office has received a report marked "confidential" from the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA. Given that it is a file marked "confidential," we cannot provide any information to the public at this stage of the proceedings – the KS Prosecutor's Office told Patria.

Otherwise, it was previously announced that SIPA investigators allegedly determined illegal actions, i.e., abuse of position by Lukač regarding the payment of compensation for accommodation and utility costs, to which, according to legal regulations, they are allegedly not entitled.

SIPA accuses Dragan Lukač of not annulling an illegal decision, thereby allegedly acquiring property benefits and damaging the Federation of BiH by more than 10,000 KM.

Also, SIPA allegedly filed a report against Lukač for the criminal offense of deleting work experience, which was recorded at the PIO/MIO Sarajevo Fund, with the aim of preventing the implementation of the Law on Police Officers in the part concerning the termination of employment.
