KS Prosecutor's Office without support from KS Assembly representatives

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - With 20 votes against and one abstention, the report on the work of the KS Prosecutor's Office for 2018 was not adopted at today's session of the KS Assembly. The report was presented to the representatives today by acting chief prosecutor Anika Kešelj, given that Dalida Burzić was recently appointed judge of the BiH Court and takes over the function on April 1st.

People and Justice representative Arijana Memić today asked Kešelj whether any official actions were taken in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS after the acquittal in the "Dženan Memić" case and whether new facts were sought regarding the murder in Velika aleja on February 8, 2016.

The death of Dženan Memić has not been solved even after three years, while the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo determined that there is no evidence that a traffic accident occurred, and Ljubo and Bekrija Seferović were acquitted. Memić also asked why Alisa Mutap was not prosecuted and why a procedure for checking and other investigative actions against Mutap and other persons was not initiated.
