HNK Prosecutor's Office investigates Aluminij's management and boards

(Patria) - In response to media statements and announcements from multiple addresses, associations and individuals, we wish to inform the public that the Mostar Canton Prosecutor's Office is already acting in several cases of reports and formed cases related to the company Aluminij d.d. Mostar, and we reject all objections about political influence on this prosecutor's office, it was announced by the HNK Prosecutor's Office.

Some cases in this prosecutor's office were formed based on reports from employees, members of the Union, and some were also formed based on the Report of the Financial Police of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Association of Small Shareholders. Among those reported are mainly members of previous and current management and supervisory boards of the company Aluminij d.d. Mostar.

Some of these cases are in the investigation phase, and several prosecutors are working on them, and the handling of these cases, due to their complexity, requires longer work and conducting several investigative actions, as well as certain expert assessments.

Currently, there are six cases in the prosecutor's office, two of which were received in the last month, and the submitters of these two reports are members of the Association of Small Shareholders of Aluminij d.d. Mostar, while in five cases the proceedings have already been completed, and the submitters of the report and the injured parties have been informed of their outcome.

"The HNK Prosecutor's Office, in accordance with its capabilities, is acting in all the above-mentioned cases, and also invites all entities (the union, etc.) to submit to the prosecutor's office information and evidence about possible illegal actions and their perpetrators, so that the prosecutor's office can conduct a comprehensive investigation and verification of all these allegations, and identify the possible perpetrators of these criminal offenses."
