Prosecutor's Office of BiH satisfied: Mladen Ždrale sentenced to 15 years in prison

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH is satisfied with the confirmed and final verdict in the case against Mladen Ždrale, sentenced to 15 years in prison.

This case is part of the operation codenamed "Lutka", which is one of the largest cases against organized crime in post-Dayton BiH.

After the Court of BiH confirmed in the third instance the sentence of 15 years in prison for the accused member of the criminal organization Ždrale Mladen, aka "Pata", the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption express satisfaction with the conviction in this complex case.

Mladen Ždrale was prosecuted for participating in the triple murder committed in the Vraca settlement in Sarajevo in November 2005, committed near the entity line, which for many years, until the activation of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH case, remained an unsolved murder committed in the style of mafia liquidations, which caused unrest and insecurity among the citizens of Sarajevo, East Sarajevo, and BiH.

According to the collected evidence, Milorad Todorović, as well as Radomir Janković and Esad Šenderović, were killed by bursts of automatic weapons, and Murat Komarica was seriously wounded, who were with him in the catering facility "Dva bora".

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH accused the convicted person of participating in the preparation and execution of this criminal offense, and of aiding the killer after the committed crime, and according to available evidence, the murder was committed by Govedarica Boris, who was killed in East Sarajevo in 2007, and could not be prosecuted.

The proceedings in the "Lutka" case are ongoing, in which, among other things, the accused are being tried for the murder of Boris Govedarica, and a first-instance verdict is expected soon.

The cases within the operation codenamed "Lutka" are of exceptional importance for the fight against organized crime structures in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
