Prosecutor's Office of BiH seeks dismissal of Ružica Jukić: She directly sides with the accused persons

The Collegium of all prosecutors of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH seeks the dismissal and sanctioning of the Vice-President of the VSTV, Ružica Jukić, due to inappropriate statements against the judicial community and the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, it was announced from the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, reports the Patria news agency.

The Collegium of all prosecutors unanimously took the position that such a member of the VSTV BiH can in no way represent or advocate for the interests of the judicial community and the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.

With her statements, the aforementioned directly sides with the suspects and accused persons in the cases of Radončić et al. and Pavlović Bank, thereby directly influencing ongoing investigations and exerting pressure on the judicial institutions deciding on these cases.

We understand to some extent the pressures from the media and politics, but for individuals who must represent the interests of the judiciary, this is unacceptable.

The Collegium of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH seeks the dismissal of this member of the VSTV BiH, and at the same time informs the public that we will never succumb to pressures from politics or the media, especially from VSTV members who place themselves in the service of such pressure.

They will seek sanctioning of Vasvija Vidović from the Bar Association

Also, the Collegium took the position that a request should be submitted to the Bar Association for the processing and disciplinary sanctioning of attorney Vidović Vasvija, due to inappropriate media statements against the judicial community.

Since this is a decisive fight for the survival of an independent judiciary and the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we tell the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina that we will not succumb to any pressures. We tell the citizens of BiH that there are no untouchables and that all citizens are equal before the law, the statement reads.
