SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Prosecutor's Office of BiH will submit a proposal to the Court of BiH for the detention of nine individuals arrested in and around Novi Grad on suspicion of committing war crimes in 1992.
The measure of detention will be proposed due to the risk of flight and the possibility that the suspects could obstruct the investigation, conceal evidence, and influence witnesses or accomplices if they remain at liberty, as announced by the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.
In this case, the Prosecutor's Office is conducting an investigation against the suspects who are accused of committing the criminal offense of crimes against humanity in the area of Novi Grad in 1992.
The investigation is intensively continuing with the aim of filing an indictment.
Members of the Agency for Investigations and Protection of BiH arrested these nine individuals yesterday.
