(Patria) - After questioning the suspect, the acting prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH submitted a motion to the Court of BiH for the imposition of a custody measure for the suspect Adi Nukić, born in 1990 in Sarajevo, a citizen of BiH.
The custody measure was proposed due to the risk of the suspect fleeing, the risk that while at large he could obstruct the investigation, conceal evidence, and influence witnesses or accomplices, as well as repeat the criminal offense or complete the one already started.
The suspect is, among other things, charged with being a member of an organized criminal group that communicated through protected applications, as a user of two Sky accounts, during 2020 and 2021, participating in arranging, taking over, transporting, hiding, and further distributing large quantities of narcotic drugs "speed", marijuana, cocaine, and heroin, sometimes in quantities of several kilograms, for sale on the illegal drug market in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as smuggling and selling narcotic drugs abroad.
The custody measure is necessary because the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, in the case of Elvis Keljmendi et al., together with partner institutions and agencies from regional countries and the EU, is conducting an extensive investigation aimed at identifying all members of the organized criminal group and documenting the numerous criminal offenses they are charged with.
The motion for the imposition of a custody measure has been submitted to the Court of BiH.
