(Patria) - After questioning the suspects in the presence of their lawyers, the acting prosecutor submitted a proposal to the Court of BiH to order custody for all four suspects who were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH within the scope of the operation codenamed "Start".
Custody has been proposed for the reasons described in Article 132, paragraph 1, points a), b), and c) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH, namely due to the risk of flight, the risk that they might obstruct the investigation, conceal evidence, and influence witnesses or accomplices while at liberty, as well as re-offend or complete what they have started.
The individuals deprived of liberty within the scope of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH's case are charged with organized crime, related to money laundering and corrupt criminal offenses.
The proposal to order custody has been submitted to the Court of BiH.
