Prosecutor's Office of BiH seeks restraining measures for Mirzet Omerović who revealed the identity of a protected witness

A prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH will submit a proposal to the Court of BiH for imposing restraining measures on Mirzet Omerović (1974), from Sarajevo, on suspicion of revealing the identity of a protected witness in the proceedings conducted before the Court of BiH against Naser Orić and others.

After questioning the suspect Mirzet Omerović, the acting prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH will submit a proposal to the Court of BiH for imposing restraining measures, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The restraining measures include, among other things, a ban on contacting and meeting with certain persons, witnesses in the proceedings, and suspects.

The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is conducting an investigation due to reasonable suspicion that the suspect committed the criminal offense of revealing the identity of a protected witness under Article 240, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH.

The proposal for imposing restraining measures will be submitted to the Court of BiH.
