
(Patria) - The Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption
of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH has filed an indictment against Jacek Andrzey Zawitowski, born in 1985 in Poland, a citizen of Poland, who was temporarily residing in the Ušivak Migrant Centre, Hadžići, and is currently in custody.
"The accused, according to the indictment, is charged with, on 05.09. this year, after arriving at the Ušivak Migrant Centre in the municipality of Hadžići, secured by police officers of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies (DKPT) of BiH, in an intoxicated state, first verbally, and then physically assaulting and attacking a police officer who was controlling entry to the facility, after which he was subdued and deprived of liberty.
The accused is charged with attacking an official person in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina while performing security duties of Bosnia and Herzegovina, thereby committing the criminal offense of attacking an official person while performing security duties, discovering or depriving an offender of liberty from Article 241b, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The indictment has been forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation," the Prosecutor's Office of BiH announced.
