Prosecutor's Office of BiH files indictment against SIPA Director: Zubac faces prison

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH has filed an indictment against Goran Zubac, Director of SIPA, confirmed Boris Grubešić, spokesperson for the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, for NAP.

- The indictment has been forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation - Grubešić stated.

Zubac is suspected of failing to take all necessary actions that could have prevented the terrorist attack on the BiH Presidency building.

Otherwise, on February 7, when the Presidency building was set on fire, Zubac refused to send the SIPA Special Unit to defend life and property.

State Prosecutor Miroslav Marković had previously sent a letter to the Independent Police Oversight Body of BiH, informing them that an order to conduct an investigation against the head of SIPA had been issued.

If found guilty, Zubac faces a sentence of one to ten years in prison, and the investigation into dereliction of duty lasted three and a half months.

As NAP previously reported, Zubac has recently been purging and removing Bosniaks from leadership positions in SIPA, and the latest to suffer his retribution is Vahid Alagić, Head of the Witness Protection Department in SIPA, who was suspended due to a report by a police officer, writes Patria.
