The Prosecutor's Office of BiH will send a new summons for questioning to Milorad Dodik, the President of the RS, due to organizing an unconstitutional referendum on September 25 regarding January 9 as the Day of the RS, which the Constitutional Court of BiH determined to be an unconstitutional holiday. That decision was not implemented by the RS authorities, nor did they amend the Law on Holidays of the RS, and the Constitutional Court of BiH ordered the deletion of Article 3b from the Law - that January 9 is the Day of the RS, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
Dodik did not appear today at the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, and earlier claimed that he does not feel safe in Sarajevo. Dodik's lawyer submitted a request for questioning in the territory of the RS, but the Prosecutor's Office of BiH did not respond.
From the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, for the Patria agency, they stated that they continue activities by conducting investigative actions and examining suspects.
- The suspect Milorad Dodik will be sent a repeated summons for examination at the Prosecutor's Office of BiH - said Boris Grubešić, spokesperson for the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.
The case against Dodik was opened on September 26, 2016.
