SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Prosecutor's Office of BiH, together with SIPA, continues activities within the operation "Cluster", with the aim of fully clarifying the committed criminal offenses related to corruption and several other criminal offenses, connected to the illegal issuance and sale of university diplomas.
According to collected evidence, it is suspected that the suspects, through illegal activities, acquired an amount of illegal property gain exceeding 600,000 KM.
So far, money in various currencies and denominations, in an amount greater than 150,000 KM, has been found and seized.
The final extent of the committed criminal offenses is still being determined.
A total of 10 persons have been arrested or placed under supervision, mostly responsible persons at universities and faculties in several cities, and the prosecutor will make a decision on further activities towards the suspects within the legal deadline, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH announced.
