Prosecutor's Office of BiH: Attack and murder of BiH Armed Forces soldier qualified as an act of terrorism

The Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, together with a colleague from the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo, spent more than eight hours in the field last night and coordinated investigative activities carried out by members of police and security agencies, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- The Prosecutor's Office of BiH is intensively continuing investigative activities together with all police and security agencies, with the aim of determining all circumstances of this criminal offense and its perpetrator.

In these activities, we will need the maximum cooperation and engagement of all police agencies, as well as partner agencies in BiH and abroad, if necessary.

The attack and murder of a BiH Armed Forces soldier has been qualified as an act of terrorism, and further investigation will determine all circumstances related to the perpetrator of this criminal offense, their potential accomplices, as well as the motive.

We hereby once again appeal to the authorities and the HJPC BiH to appoint prosecutors to the Department for Terrorism, which we expect and have been urging for several months, because the current capacities, with only two prosecutors engaged in the investigation of these criminal offenses, are insufficient for effective work in the fight against terrorism - it was announced from the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.
