BiH Prosecutor's Office Must Improve Work on War Crimes Cases

Acting Chief Prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor's Office Gordana Tadić met with officials of the OSCE Mission to BiH and the Embassy of Great Britain. The meeting topics concerned improving the processing of war crimes cases in BiH.

Deputy Head of the Special Department for War Crimes Izet Odobašić attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed the processing of war crimes cases, the application and implementation of recommendations for improving case processing given in the report by Judge Joanna Korner, as well as activities on drafting the Proposal for Amendments to the State Strategy for War Crimes Cases.

The OSCE Mission to BiH and the Embassy of Great Britain in our country have provided significant support in establishing the rule of law in BiH and in efforts to process war crimes cases in the past period, and the meeting discussed modalities for providing concrete assistance and support in the future as well, it was announced from the BiH Prosecutor's Office, writes NAP.
