Prosecutor's Office of BiH formed a case on recruitment of Salafis, Mektić will also be questioned

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Prosecutor's Office of BiH has formed a case assigned to a prosecutor from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, who will undertake urgent activities to establish all circumstances and allegations presented in the media, related to the alleged recruitment of members of the Salafi movement for arms smuggling in BiH, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH announced.

Within the case, all persons who presented allegations and knowledge about the mentioned activities, about which the Prosecutor's Office was not informed nor were the events reported to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, will be examined.

The Minister of Security of BiH, Dragan Mektić, will be summoned and questioned about all details he presented in media statements, regarding which no criminal complaint or report was submitted to the prosecutor's office by the competent law enforcement agencies.

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH is determined in the fight against all forms of criminal offenses within its jurisdiction, especially criminal offenses that have a regional or international character and relate to the security of BiH citizens.
