It is true that the Prosecutor's Office of BiH will request the extradition of Elfeta Veseli from Switzerland, and the preparation of documentation for that procedure is underway, confirmed for the news agency Patria the spokesperson of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, Boris Grubešić.
Grubešić denied speculations that Elfeta Veseli, once extradited, would appear as a witness for the Prosecutor's Office of BiH against the wartime commander of Srebrenica, Naser Orić, stating that these are two completely separate events.
Veseli is suspected of having committed the criminal act of war crimes against the civilian population – the murder of a minor boy of Serbian nationality during 1992.
According to reports in Serbian media, Elfeta Veseli, an Albanian, is originally from Uroševac in Kosovo, and before the war she allegedly lived in Vlasenica. Her nickname is Hosovka.
Also, Serbian media reported that she is about 40 years old and lives in Switzerland with her brother Muhamed. She has been linked to the murder of a boy whose body was found in the hamlet of Bajrići in Novo Selo near Zvornik.
