Prosecutor's Office of BiH will decisively prosecute all instances of endangering citizens' health

(Patria) - The Prosecutor's Office of BiH, together with partner institutions and law enforcement agencies with which it cooperates, is monitoring developments within its jurisdiction related to the commission of criminal offenses that could endanger the health and safety of citizens.

Effective detection and prosecution of all criminal offenses that could endanger the health and safety of citizens, in relation to the prevention and protection against the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, is of utmost importance, as it has been shown that irresponsible and illegal behavior of individuals can cause immeasurable damage to citizens.

The prosecution of criminal offenses within the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, relating to the endangerment of citizens' health and safety, will be a priority in work and urgent in action, especially when the perpetrators are public officials.  

Illegal and irresponsible behavior of public officials and individuals can cause immeasurable damage, and it is important that the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, as well as all other competent prosecutor's offices in BiH, prosecute the perpetrators without delay.

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH calls on all citizens to report to the competent institutions any knowledge of non-compliance with the decisions of competent institutions, and irresponsible and illegal behavior, in order to prevent and avert the consequences of these criminal offenses.
