Prosecutor orders autopsy of 25-year-old found dead in Tuzla

(Patria) - The duty prosecutor of the Tuzla Canton Prosecutor's Office ordered an autopsy of the body of a 25-year-old man who was found dead in a residential building today, the Tuzla Canton Ministry of Interior announced.

"On February 18, 2024, at around 11:10 a.m., the Police Administration of the Tuzla Canton Ministry of Interior / Criminal Police Department Tuzla and East Police Station was notified by the Emergency Medical Service of the Tuzla Health Center that the same service had received a report from a citizen that a lifeless body of A.K. (born 1999) was in an apartment on Mustafe Mujbegovića Street, Zlokovac neighborhood in Tuzla, where upon arriving at the scene, the duty doctor of the Emergency Medical Service confirmed the death of the named individual," stated Adnana Sprečić, spokesperson for the Tuzla Canton Ministry of Interior.

The duty prosecutor of the Tuzla Canton Prosecutor's Office was immediately informed of the incident, and an investigation was conducted by police officers of the Criminal Police Department Tuzla.

"Also, the prosecutor issued an order for an autopsy of the deceased's body, and all further measures and actions are being taken under the prosecutor's orders," stated spokesperson Sprečić.
