Tusk: Attacks in Brussels are a vile act of terrorists in the service of hatred and violence

President of the European Council Donald Tusk, regarding the terrorist attacks in Brussels, said he is appalled by the bomb attacks that occurred this morning at Zaventem airport and in the European district in Brussels, which claimed several innocent lives and injured many others, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- I extend my sincerest condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims. These attacks are yet another vile act of terrorists in the service of hatred and violence.

Brussels is home to European institutions thanks to the generosity of the Belgian government and its citizens. The European Union now returns this solidarity and will fulfill its role to help Brussels, Belgium, and Europe as a whole in the fight against the terrorist threat we all face.
