Two strong earthquakes hit Turkey

(Patria) - An earthquake of magnitude 3.9 on the Richter scale was recorded at 06:15 in the western part of Turkey.

The epicenter was located in an area with geographic coordinates of latitude 39.25 and longitude 28.89.

So far, there are no reports of material damage or injuries, and the competent services are monitoring the situation.

Also, another earthquake of magnitude 3.8 on the Richter scale was detected, almost simultaneously with the previous one.

According to available data, the epicenter of the earthquake was located in an area with geographic coordinates of latitude 39.2453 and longitude 28.9658.

The hypocenter of the earthquake, according to data from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, is located at a depth of approximately 11.2 kilometers below the Earth's surface.
