Turkish Minister Soylu: If the female bomber had fled to Greece, she would have been executed and the clarification of the attack prevented

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The terrorist attack in Istanbul that occurred yesterday claimed 6 lives. Turkish Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu addressed the media.

“We received the message that was sent to us, we know what the message is. We do not accept the condolences of the American embassy,” said the Turkish Minister of Interior in his address to the media today.

“The response to terrorism will be very strong,” he said and added that if the female bomber had not been caught, she would have been transferred to Greece and executed to prevent her arrest and the clarification of the attack.

Minister Soylu said: “After the incident, the instruction from the terrorist organisation was very clear to kill the terrorist. The plan was to prevent us from unravelling the entire network.”

“We have not seen such terrorist incidents in Istanbul for 6 years. We prevented 200 terrorist incidents just this year, but the face of terrorism is so cruel. You block 200, one of them explodes and hurts you all,” said Soylu, who visited the site of the attack today and paid tribute to the victims.

We remind you that the Turkish police arrested the woman who carried out the attack during the night, and as announced, she is Ahlam Albashir, originally from Syria.

In the attack carried out in the Beyoglu district, near the busy and tourist-attractive Taksim Square, six people were killed and dozens were wounded.
