KAKANJ, (Patria) - Turkish businessmen are interested in cooperation with BH Premier League club Mladost from Kakanj.
The club's president Mensur Mušija confirmed for Patria that the club's management has spoken with potential investors from Turkey. There is a desire for cooperation, said Mušija, and concrete negotiations are yet to follow.
The same investors were previously mentioned as potential investors in the football club Čelik from Zenica.
On the official website of NK Čelik, it was announced on September 20th this year that a delegation from Turkey visited the club regarding possible investment in that club.
“Aydin Olgun, a successful businessman from Istanbul, along with his associate Bulent Tulum, a long-time sports director of Galatasaray, expressed a strong desire to invest, which would also mean the recovery of the Football Club Čelik,” the NK Čelik website states. Olgun and Tulum were also received by the Mayor of Zenica, Fuad Kasumović.
The Zenica club claims they have not received official notification from the Turkish investors that they are negotiating with other BH clubs regarding potential cooperation. When asked about the stage of negotiations between Čelik and Olgun, or his associates, Čelik told NAP that they are being asked to perform some illegal actions, such as dissolving the club's Assembly, which is not feasible.
