In the Turkish town of Midyat, near the border with Syria, a car bomb exploded this morning in front of a police station. Two police officers and one civilian were killed in the explosion, and more than 20 were injured, Reuters reports, as carried by Patria.
Several ambulances were dispatched to the scene of the explosion.
The attack followed yesterday's deadly attack on a police bus in Istanbul's tourist district, in which 11 people were killed and 36 wounded.
