
(Patria) - The Research and Development Center of the Turkish Ministry of National Defense today unveiled the intercontinental ballistic missile "Yildirimhan".
One of the country's most advanced long-range missile systems was thus displayed to the public for the first time at the SAHA EXPO 2026 fair.
The missile can reach a speed of Mach 25 and has a range of approximately 6,000 kilometers (3,728 miles).
Yildirimhan uses liquid nitrogen tetroxide as fuel and is powered by four rocket engines.

The system was presented during the international defense and aerospace industry exhibition in Istanbul, where Turkish companies and public institutions showcase new platforms and technologies.
The unveiling comes at a time when Turkey continues to expand its defense industry capabilities, including unmanned systems, missile technologies, air defense, aviation, and space platforms.
