(Patria) – Dozens of people were lightly and seriously injured when a bus carrying police officers in the province of Adana in southern Turkey ran over an explosive device placed on the road on Wednesday morning.
The injured police officers from the bus, as well as civilians who were in the immediate vicinity, were taken to a local clinic.
An investigation is underway. For now, there are no indications of who might be behind the attack.
Adana Governor Mahmut Demirtas called the attack a terrorist act.
