Turković in Brussels: Bosnia and Herzegovina's progress is threatened and risks complete annulment

(Patria) - "Progress in Bosnia and Herzegovina is, at this moment, seriously threatened, and risks complete annulment", said Bisera Turković, Deputy Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH this morning during an informal meeting of ministers of the member states of the Southeast European Cooperation Process (SEECP) held in Brussels.

"At the very least, we expect a firm stance and strong commitment to supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as its European perspective", she stated, among other things.

Minister Turković advocated for strengthening regional cooperation, emphasizing that BiH supports initiatives that bring improvement and a faster path to the European Union, but warned against policies that slow down and block reform processes.

The meeting of SEECP foreign ministers was attended by high-ranking officials of the European Union, including Joseph Borrell, EU Special Representative for Foreign Policy and Security, and European Commissioner for Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi.
