Turković and Podžić spoke with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg

(Patria) - BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs Bisera Turković and BiH Minister of Defence dr. Sifet Podžić met on March 10, 2020, in Brussels with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, and discussed the dynamics of the implementation of the Reform Programme for 2019/2020 and other current issues. They expressed full commitment of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the implementation of programme goals in the areas for which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defence are responsible.
 
Turković emphasized that meeting the goals and specific actions from the Programme is one of the key priorities of the ministry she leads, and that the formation of permanent working teams and the provision of necessary financial resources are essential for successful implementation. The Minister informed Secretary General Stoltenberg about the plan for the realization of specific actions, and requested concrete support and assistance from NATO for the issue of implementing the goals of "public diplomacy", especially in strengthening the capacities of institutions and officials working on implementation.
