Tourists delighted by Sarajevo's beauty: A city worth visiting

Numerous tourists visiting Sarajevo are fascinated by its beauty, and they all agree on one thing  - it is a city with a soul, writes the BH News Agency Patria. Whether you visit it in winter or summer, it will leave an impression on you with its interesting architecture, gastronomic offer, or simply the feeling of peace as you explore dozens of narrow streets in Baščaršija. 

Some of the most beautiful photos of Sarajevo were taken by tourists whose pictures were published on social networks and can often be seen on tourist sites recommending Sarajevo as a desirable destination. 

Thanks to modern technology, high-quality photos can be taken with a mobile phone, and with a little imagination, fascinating photos are created that capture the "soul" of Sarajevo, at least for a moment.

Positive statistics

According to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics, the total number of tourist arrivals in February 2016 was 29,965, which is 7.0% more than in February 2015, and 0.5% more than in January 2016. The share of domestic tourists was 40.0%, and foreign tourists 60.0%.

The total number of tourist overnight stays in February 2016 was 54,248, which is 4.0% more than in February 2015, and 9.0% less than in January 2016. The share of domestic tourists was 35.3%, and foreign tourists 64.7%.
