(Patria) - An Israeli national airline "El Al" plane, which took off from Warsaw, Poland, made an emergency landing in Antalya, Turkey.
This happened after a passenger fell ill and required urgent medical assistance, Israeli media reported.
According to the report, Turkish authorities delayed the plane's departure to Israel by refusing to refuel it, although there seemed to be progress in negotiations and the plane would soon be able to take off.
Passengers were told they were expected to spend several hours on the ground in Turkey, without permission to leave the plane.

Turkish officials are flat-out REFUSING to refuel the plane or let anyone get off.

All direct flights between Israel and Turkey have been canceled since the war in Gaza broke out, and in May, Ankara announced it would halt trade with Tel Aviv.
Turkey has been one of Israel's biggest critics since the start of the war.
