Tunisia: Terrorists attacked popular tourist resort, at least 27 dead

Armed terrorists attacked two hotels in the tourist resort of Sousse in Tunisia and killed at least 27 people, and several people were injured, officials announced, reports the Patria News Agency.

The attack was carried out on the beach near the Imperial Marhaba hotel, shots were heard and one strong detonation, and now there is great panic throughout the complex. Reuters reports that there was an exchange of fire between the attackers and the police, in which two attackers were killed.

It is not yet known which other hotel was the target of the attackers, but the hotels "Belvi Park" and "Marhaba Palace" are located near the Imperial Marhaba.

Sousse is one of the most famous tourist complexes in North Africa, visited by a large number of tourists from Europe.
