(Patria) - U.S. President Donald Trump sharply criticized his predecessor Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky yesterday, accusing them of starting the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social, a day after the Russian attack on Sumy, which killed more than 30 people.
"The war between Russia and Ukraine is Biden's war, not mine. I just came in and for four years during my term, I had no problem preventing this from happening.
President Putin, and everyone else, respected your president. I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS WAR, BUT I AM WORKING HARD TO STOP THE DEATH AND DESTRUCTION.
If the 2020 presidential election had not been RIGGED, and it was, in many ways, this terrible war would never have happened.
President Zelensky and the corrupt Joe Biden did an absolutely terrible job of allowing this travesty to begin.
There were so many ways to prevent it from starting at all. But that is in the past. Now we must stop it, AND FAST. SO SAD", Trump stated.
