(Patria) - US President Donald Trump stated that he will "likely" meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the NATO summit in The Hague.
According to European Pravda, Trump briefly answered a question about the possibility of meeting with Zelensky during a conversation with reporters on Air Force One: "Yes, I will probably see him."
When asked what he would say to the Ukrainian president, Trump said he would first ask him how he was, adding that "Zelensky is in a difficult situation that he should not have found himself in."
We remind you that Zelensky previously expressed hope in an interview with Sky News that he would meet with Trump during the summit, which is being held on June 24 and 25, and that their teams are currently arranging the exact meeting time.
Tonight, Zelensky, Trump, and other world leaders will attend a state dinner hosted by the King of the Netherlands.
