Trump in a letter to the BiH Presidency members: I look forward to strengthening relations between the US and BiH to come

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, sent congratulations to the members of the BiH Presidency on the occasion of BiH Statehood Day. The letter was sent to the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik, and members Željko Komšić and Šefik Džaferović.

The letter states:

- Esteemed members of the BiH Presidency, on behalf of the American people, I express sincere and best wishes to you and the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of the Statehood Day celebration on November 25. The United States is committed to a strong friendship and partnership with Bosnia and Herzegovina and to supporting its sovereignty and territorial integrity. We will continue to support your country's aspirations towards Euro-Atlantic institutions, including membership in NATO and the European Union.

The United States remains committed to working with the new authorities, once formed, to continue implementing the reforms necessary for Bosnia and Herzegovina's progress on its European path.

At the end of the letter, Trump joins the citizens of BiH in celebrating Statehood Day and emphasizes that he looks forward to strengthening relations between the two countries in the years to come.
