WASHINGTON, (Patria) - US President Donald Trump stated that he is ready for a meeting with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani without preconditions.
- Whenever they want, if they want to meet, I will meet - Trump said.
He stated this at a press conference at the White House, after a meeting with the Prime Minister of Italy, Giuseppe Conte, reports RT.
He added that he is ready for a meeting "with anyone".
The US withdrew from the Iranian nuclear deal in May, which caused strong disapproval in Tehran. Trump announced the re-imposition of sanctions on that country, perhaps even stricter ones.
Iran responded that the US is an unstable partner and that there is no need to negotiate for now.
