Trump: United States did not approve Ukraine's use of long-range missiles

(Patria) - US President Donald Trump stated that a news report claiming the United States approved Ukraine to use long-range missiles deep inside Russia is false, adding that the United States "has nothing to do with these missiles," Reuters reported.

The Wall Street Journal, citing unidentified US officials, reported earlier on Wednesday that the Trump administration had lifted a restriction on Ukraine's use of some long-range missiles provided by Western allies.

Trump said on his Truth Social social media platform that the Journal's story about "US approval for Ukraine to use long-range missiles deep inside Russia" is false.

"The US has nothing to do with these missiles, wherever they come from, or what Ukraine does with them," Trump added.
